Object Portraiture
Paintings of overlooked objects that build our world.
Exhibition: April 14 - May 24, 2026
Georgetown Public Library
A new body of work by Wade Henson, this exhibition presents a series of oil paintings that focus on everyday tools - objects designed for function rather than display. By isolating these familiar items and rendering them with close attention to form, texture, and wear, the work invites viewers to pause and reflect on how these items shape our physical environment.
Visitors are invited to view the paintings on the second floor of the library during regular library hours. A public reception celebrating the exhibition will be held at the Georgetown Public Library on Friday April 17, 2026 from 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm. A private reception will be held May 2, 2026.
Paintings are available for purchase. Purchased works will be delivered or shipped after the exhibition closes on May 24, 2026.
